I play this game any free moment i get from work and school and ive grinded to get a fifteen man roster. Ive placed within the top ten in probably a quarter of the tournaments and the rest in the top fifty and a hundred. Proud to say also i havent dropped more than twenty bucks in coins and covers. Pay to play takes the game out of the game has always been my belief but for the love of god this game gets cheap sometimes or i go through eight straight juggernaught token coves only to be followed up by five hawkeyes and seven black widows. So i got tempted to use the credit card to balance the cheapness. So i wanted to give a little backround to make my point, out of my fifteen man roster to win consistently i only play five of them. Ive got four three stars and a four star i never play with no rank under twenty five. I have thirty and forty ranked Bagged spiderman, draken, and captain america that have powers that are all show and no go. The worst power has got to be moonstones power where all it does is you pick four tiles to move to random other locations, then bagged spidermans yellow power never works, it always says there arent enough tiles on the board, and his other power is lock three tiles on the board which all good against hammer but come on these guys are such a waste. All i can depend on is my jugger, rag, wolvie, venom, new to the party black iron man, and the only surprise out of the bunch is the low ranked magneto at twenty but potent powers. How many bench warmers you guys have? Or covers that there powers just make them useless?

Yea, unfortunately there are clearly characters that are more effective than others. You can only learn by reading on this forum (when others share their experiences) or your own experiences.

Unfortunately, with ISO so scarce and no ability to respec, you can make mistakes that waste hours of your time and can't be corrected.

Also, don't think you can 'buy your way' into being good. You can, but it would literally cost you hundreds of dollars to do so. It's not worth it.

This game is meant to be played like a marathon, not a sprint. So, hold onto those 4 star and 3 star characters (benchwarmers). Eventually you will accumulate enough covers to where they are viable.

Just keep adding them up cos you might not know one day they will be v useful to you when you start to explore new team combo when new event kick in. (Example: hawkeye modern, start to appreciate his ability and able to combo him w/ otger characters that suit his ability. Black widow, which I really get to take note on her when I saw her using in other team n giving me headache. Keep stealing my ap away with only 5ap)
