How do you feel about the UI changes now?
Now that some time has passed since the UI has been changed, has your opinions on it changed?
At first, I wasn't crazy about it and thought it was mostly unnecessary. It looked nicer, but seemed to slow the game down a bit. Matches felt less 'snappy'.
But now I have adapted to it and actually prefer this way. My only complaint is that the status bars are sometimes hard to judge exactly how much more you need to fill them up (without physically checking your AP counts). So, I make a match 3, only to find I am still 1 AP short.

Liked them initially, still like them. Just wish we could see AP totals (at least for enemy, maybe for both) at the same time.0

Things I like:
1) Seeing the bars fill up is satisfying
2) The abilities are easy to tell apart
Things I don't like:
1) Not sure whether I'm 7/11 or 8/11 AP away from casting Storm's blue
2) Clicking on the apparently full environment power only to see I'm 49/50
3) Some powers are more convenient to activate than others because of the position of the character's icon
4) Not sure how many times I can activate a cheap activity
5) When it suggests a different ability for me and I choose a different colored ability, it takes a while for the description and my AP count to show up
6) Still can't see the opponent's AP without a swipe0 -
I like the changes now that I've adjusted. There is still room for improvement, but the changes have been for the better.0

Selecting a tile tells you how much AP you have in that tile. It was what I did pre-pre-change. UI is okay, but still slow.
I don't like the excess use of animations and there's still an abundance of misfires.0 -
Only thing I'm still annoyed with is that I miss occasionally that I have a power ready to go before I make a match. When the tiles were blinking that wasn't the case.
That said, I don't missfire anymore (unless I just flat out brain fart) and in general the board is easier to see when it comes to more than just the next move. Also, if the PC Beta is any indication, this will look amazing when R43 drops and we get support for higher resolutions. My Nexus 10 (2560 x 1600, better than retina) is drooling at what I saw on my PC last night.
One other thing of note, as someone who has post concussion syndrome and is wary of a lot of blinking, the change in the interface helps A LOT. I wasn't able to play when I had a bad headache a while ago, now with sound off I can because of the UI change. Still miss some of those powered up bars tho.
One other thing... occasionally I see c.Storm with a full (or more) green bar after Grey Suit/Classic Widow has used her purple power. The interface won't let me fire off Storm's power until the following turn tho. Only seems to happen when the green comes from not a match on the table. Didn't notice it before, but also didn't have either version of Widow leveled before either.0 -

I liked the changed when they were announced and enjoy them till today
As for AP meters - after playing a lot with the same characters, I can guess pretty well how many AP I have from them without checking the AP bar on left.0 -
the black ap meter is impossibly hard to see. that's my biggest freaking gripe/0
