Why does Puzzle Quest need to see who calls me?

Hello all,

I noticed that MPQ requires permission to know the phone status and identity when anyone calls your phone. Has anyone seen functionality within the program that would require this information?

  • I've never seen that happen whenever I receive a call. I've never heard about this problem on the forums either.

I believe all it does is it tells MPQ to be on the lookout for incoming calls, if a call is coming in, it would minimize the game and it would launch the phone app so you are able to answer the call

It's not some sort of call sniffer gathering names and phone numbers of everyone that calls you and sends them to some secret underground MPQ server to later be used for evil purposes icon_lol.gif

    It's ok; it's Adam Magus.

Now if it was Magnus on the other hand we'd be in trouble.

Precisely it. The former part with monitoring incoming calls to switch, not the latter with the spy-iness. If we have a secret underground lair, I haven't been given the passcode.
  • However, you don't seem to be denying that you know where it is. Only that they'll let you in.
