Tourney suggestions: Working w/what we have

OK, the weekend event is bow-and-arrow guy tourney time...

Since we have now run back 1-star, Avengers, and now Red ISO, it seems like we might be coming to the limits of the current new content pipeline...if so, here are some suggestions for potentially interesting tourneys using only content already in-game:

- Weapon X tourney: All 3 Wolvie variants are buffed X%.
Bonus condition: "Healing Factor" - All characters gain minor passive regen between fights for the event duration only (heal twice as fast)

- X-Men tourney: Both Wolvies, both Storms, and Magneto Marvel NOW! are buffed X%.
Bonus condition: "Danger Room" - Matching environmental tiles gives 2x env points

- Marvel NOW! tourney: All Marvel NOW characters are buffed X%.
Bonus condition: "REvolution" - Both players start every match with 3 free AP of every color, in addition to any boosts

(Similar tourneys could of course be run for all Modern version characters or all Classic version characters)

    Tournaments with level caps
    All characters welcome. Limit level to 40.

    Tournaments with Handicaps
    (Using statistics obtained from in-game analysis)
    Put negative buffs on the most popular characters.

    Heroes vs Villains
    (Who can ragnarok feed? Maybe juggernaut... but it's such a similar ability)

    I don't know if this can be implemented without an update
    1-star, 2-star, 3-star
    I hope this is obvious

    Girls vs Guys (Cyborgs not invited)
    Do we have enough gender representation? Daken and Loki can play both sides

    If nothing else, let's please try to avoid a Widow vs Widow vs Widow vs Widow tourney. At least for a little while. You know, so Zathrus's head doesn't explode icon_e_wink.gif

    There will be so many widows generated by the Widow tournament.
