So I'm transitioning to a 3* team. I've got a maxed Punisher, and could max IM40 and BWG but I don't want to... so I'm waiting to collect the covers from tokens and events. I have a handful of covers for most 3*s, so it's just a matter of time to collect enough covers to get them to the point where I can start leveling them. I can always buy the last few covers

It can be tricky to rank high enough in those PVPs to get multiple covers with life and a newborn and such, and sometimes you get unlucky with a competitive bracket. You also have to wait until an event rolls around with a prize you want *cough cough not spiderman thanks cough* But you can collect a good amount of tokens in a week though, so they provide a steady stream of chances at those 3*s.

Every time I see that gold token appear in the opening animation, I get excited, finally after those 10 Ares covers, it's time to get a cover I need... but what have I pulled in the last few weeks? Two Daredevils and an Indivisible Woman.

It's going to be a long road.

    Don't be surprised if you get a couple HT covers. I have seen that quite a few people have gotten several of them just this week. I myself have gotten 3 this week so far just from Brotherhood and Standard Tokens. Someone else has mentioned that they got 5 of him. So you might be able to grab a few of them if you are lucky.

    HT seems to be my most commonly pulled 3* besides Hulk (Sooo many Hulks, and mine is maxed) and Punisher (also cover capped, and at 133). I actually pulled a HT yesterday from an event token.

    Token luck comes and goes for me. Always a dry spell and then some great pulls. These last few days I got a Red Sentry, Red LazyThor and Yellow Invisible Woman all from ISO-8 tokens.

    Now I've been waiting for long enough that I got a few characters nearly maxed (Hulk, Patch) and others one PvP event away from being pretty much cover maxed (Lazy Daken, Lazy Thor). The problem with this is that I'll probably be able to max them around the same time and I won't have the ISO for it. Whenever I think I'm going to save some ISO a new event rolls around and I feel like leveling a featured character because I have a decent number of covers.

    Im currently on a streak of 32 straight Heroic tokens without a 3* or 4*......so i stopped opening them. It was just too depressing. So now I have about 30 more sitting there taunting me just waiting to be revealed as bagmen/iso.

    This happens to me too.

    I also have 2 characters that I want to level at the same time. Currently putting ISO into Punisher and Patch. I'm just alternating levels with them... 1 level for Pun, 1 level for Patch, rinse and repeat.

    No more actual $$$ being spent until 3* drop percentages improve...

    The pull of gambling is that the odds are only SLIGHTLY stacked in the house's favor so the gambler still gets a taste of winning. When the odds are so incredibly bad, as they currently are, the taste the gambler gets is just foul. There is a lot of discontent these days, from lack of action against cheaters, to inability to move forward, to everything being a grind for players who have been around longer. You would think that not ruining pull rates would be reasonable, now doing that just seems like throwing us a bone.
