insect token confusion? [Investigating]

scute swarm and ireadcent beetle are meant to make 1/1 red/blue insects, and rise of ants make 3/3 mono green ant tokens, both are ladled as insects. and after midnight hunt scute was making 3/3 mono green insect tokens, but after crimson vow they have reverted back to 1/1 red blue insects, was this an intentional revert as its confusing to have rise of ants and scute and beetle both make insect tokens but one is 3/3 mono green and the other is 1/1 red blue.
