Inevitable End doesn't count [Investigating]

Inevitable End doesn't count towards the 'Destroy creatures' bonus objective in the ZE event. 
This makes no sense. I played the card, targeted a creature, the conditions on the card were met, the creature was destroyed. It's just an (ever so slightly) longer play version of any kill spell like Nethroi, Shatter, etc., so should count for this objective.
