Having just champed Thano5,  I've been looking for interesting teams. So Far I like Apocalypse/Thano5/Onslaught in pick-3, particularly against iHulk teams. If you can drop Hulk with Shared STrength on the board, it's about 60k of "free" AOE damage in total.
Ive said it before but cannot reiterate enough the value of iHulk/Thanos in pick 2 new release events. Once you drop the loaner, Court Desth kicks in, and if it downs your IHulk then he revives and does passive damage while the enemy is stunned. Once you hit the wall of Hulkoye, you can usually do enough AOE to continue killing opposing hulks, triggering court death and laying waste to their permastunned Okoye. It’s a very strong team that I think you’ll enjoy. I believe we have a 4* release coming soon, so... yeah. Enjoy!

I was pretty shocked at how well Thano5's health pool has aged, to be honest.

Heimdall/ Polaris/ Vulture is a very nice stun lock once he goes airborne, and he has two ways to get there . Heimdalls first blue use lowers 2 black and 1 blue . That keeps Vulture infinite airborne and Polaris 4 stunning every other turn
I have 2 stun lock team

    Shuri/4*garoma/vulture
Shuri's passive keep vulture infinite airborne with first red power, garoma keep stunning, and can instant down some tough foe with black power, good for fighting high level foes.

    spider2099/spider-guan/miles
Spider2099 making web tiles and stunning plus gaining 75% dmg output, guan stunning another two enemies and healing, then punch the one stunned by 2099, making 17k dmg with only 6 AP ; miles making red, blue and purple AP for them, sometimes deal massive dmg (40-70k) with 14 purple AP and the baord with full of web tiles, this is good for pvp battles.

I have another fun team with scarlet/nightcrawler, usually play with essential story that enemies' level just too high, make nightcrawler create purple tiles with purple power, and my turn never ends; scarlet can stun random enemy while purple AP is full, in case of sometimes purple tiles are not the most on the board.

and there's a team to play pve stage only, Chavez/riri/model 40
Chavez equip a support that increase red matching dmg, plus her red passive (900% matching dmg with 30 AP), my currently bsae red matching dmg is 347, so can do 9k dmg by just match red tiles, 20-50k in average with matching red charged tiles or ctit tiles, it works well especially on boss fights.

Try G4mora/Vulture/Sandman for the infinite stunlock. You're growing green and blue in the background with Vulture, and you have 2x stuns on those colors, one with an AOE and the other with a quite insta-kill built in. I used to ride hard nodes with that team as a 4* player, I'm sure it's mentioned 100 pages earlier in this thread lol.

I jumped into SCL 10 this round and the Challenge node for Day 2 consists of 5* Carnage, 1* Venom, and Mutation (the one who deals passive damage whenever an enemy A/S/P tile is matched). So, I decided to bring BRB/Polaris and Spider-Ham equipped with a Peni-Support which stuns opponents for 2 turns at a 75% chance.

At the start of the game, BRB triggers Carbage's free move which gives me free aps. I begin matching protect tiles and multiplying them. On their second or third turn, Spider-Ham was stunning Carbage, Mutation or Venom. This gave me time to build up blue aps and stun Carbage longer with Polaris, followed by stunning Mutation, and Venom stunning himself for matching my protect tiles. Also, it allows me to take fewer match damage.

I feel like it's a walk in the park with this team because Spider-Ham's "passive" 2-turn stun happens too often. Also, Spider-Ham's purple can clean up enemy special tiles and stun goons like Mutation too.

I think this will be my new meta fun team against Carbage or even Carnage in other SCL 10 pick 3 nodes.

    5* Thanos 5/5/3
    Apocalypse 3/5/5
Onslaught 3/5/5 (but really any mutant)

I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of this until someone suggested it in the Apoc thread. Apoc with a mutant, isn’t stunned. So, you kill the weakest member of a team (hello Polaris. Goodbye Polaris) and get 2 free turns with Apoc. This is really good because now you have 5 colors that can get good match damage in those 2 turns instead of just 3 with thanos, and you can plan out lots of things and combos for when the enemy comes out of stun.

This is even better with Onslaught because

    a. rainbow is covered.
b.Onslaught’s passive is great for one-shotting 4*s not named Rogue
    c. Onslaught has a bunch of health so he’s not that affected by Thanos’ Court Death
    d. Onslaught’s blue is great to chase in the stun of Court Death. It’s cheap and can set up lots of matches for aLL the powers at your disposal.

I’m really feeling this team right now in pvp.

So a week or two ago I champed 4* Wolvie and tried to find a team for him. Tried a lot of things and nothing really worked really well. Wolvie/Deadpool has lots of synergy but takes forever, C&D/Wolvie are faster but you can't spam his black because it starves the board of that color, etc, etc, etc.
I kept returning to Polaris though.
Because while combining stuff with Polaris is not in any way very original, the thing is that 4* Wolvie as a board destroy specialist has a pretty unique synergy with Polaris. Synergy with tile destroy is pretty rare. It's not his fault that she's the most meta meta character who ever meta'd.
And to my total surprise, the first team that really clicked for me for him was 4* Wolvie/ 4* Elektra / Polaris.
The team has 2 cheap ways of getting the Polaris train started, Polaris' blue and Elektra's purple. Wolvie's green or black tile destroy is *devastating* with Polaris. Yes, even his normally kinda awful green-- Even if there aren't that many tiles yet, he's bound to hit some of them with green@5, it destroys a good portion of the board. And then you get damage + possibly cascades + multiple Polaris hits.

I almost didn’t put that Onslaught/Apocalypse/Thano5 team anywhere because I wasn’t sure I wanted it to proliferate, but in the end I was like “YOLO.” It’s an awesome counter to Hulk teams in Pick-3 if you go in with a stack of yellow AP

Boosted Ghostpool/Okoye/iHulk was slaying DPvsMPQ for me. I usually use that on The Big Enchilada for the spicy token, but it actually hits pretty hard in PVE; I'm not sure how much of that is due to the boost or not though. I usually use Black + Purple on Penance Fare (3/5/5 build), because the purple countdown does good damage and there is usually a ton of board shake from Hulk.

    Adam Warlock 5/5/3
    Onslaught 3/5/5
    America Chavez 3/5/5

my AW is at lvl 451 and when his health is over 50%, the match damage he does is hefty. Match 3s in purple/yellow/black deal 5000-5500. Match 4s in those colors deal 10000-12000. Basically, you’re doing a nuke with a match 4. A match 4 with a crit? Pretty much double that.

Onslaught wipes the field of TUs with a match 4/5 the cascades keep your AP high to keep crits popping.

This is a good team, too. But I can use G4mora's blue at 3 AP (that means every turn) with Shuri's blue effect (all AP cost -3), and I don't have to worry about vulture's black AP because the cost(3) is fewer then earned by skill(4), so I still perfer Shuri than Sandman.

Wow, this thread was 4 pages back...

today in simulator I thought it would be amusing to try and run a mega charge tile meltdown team, so I brought my old buddy Hammercap out of retirement, and put him with BRB and Throg. I went looking for a BRB/Kitty/Polaris team, and gave it a shot. The plan here was to let the board fill up with enemy specials, then court the entire board to charge tiles and hope I then have the blue to fire off Hammercap’s blue for maximum nonsense.  It was pretty fun, but ok’ cap just isn’t the same these days. Won’t change anyone’s life, but go it it a shot if you like novelty board conditions. Also cap does little chip damage anytime an enemy matches a charge tile, but without a booster in play it’s pretty trivial. It does put 3 Mjolnirs in play at the same time though, which is also amusing to me.

    Adam Warlock 5/5/3
    Black Bolt 5/5/3
    America Chavez 3/5/5

you can start with a boost in colors to immediately get crits on the field. As I’ve said before, matches of purple/yellow/black with AW at 50%+ health with crits are nukes. Well match 3s in those colors and one of them as a charged tile is also a nuke. My AW is at lvl 461. Match 3s with crits or charged tiles in p/y/b colors deal over 16000 damage. Match 4s are over 23000. A match with a crit and a charged tile in that color is over 30000.

Another couple things.... the passive damage really adds up. There’s AW’s black passive. There’s BB’s passive damage. There’s AC’s passive damage too. And the other thing I like is BBs green active that does good damage plus a board shake. You’ll need this to finish people off like Thor and prevent his crazy half-life board shake to get going or finish of Prof X.

    Domino, Apocalypse, Magik

This video was taken before the UI changes took place.

The goal is to allow Apocalypse fire his black power as many time as possible by combining Domino's passive black tiles appearance boost and Magik's passive ability to fortify and create protect tiles whenever friendly power is fired.

Focus is on yellow matches followed by green matches.

When you say power booster, I imagine you meant Okoye?  I haven't champed Silk yet to try, but Apoc would tank yellow and black and is not a hero which would massively slow down the 2099s passive web tile creation and damage, and that would also limit how much Silk's passive damage goes off.

Now that I have had a chance to play them together, I do actually like the combo of Phoenix five cyclops and colossus along with regular namor.

I used them under-levelled and under-covered against some level 510 mindless ones, and they actually did a really good job of suppressing them.

It was slow as hell, but I really enjoyed the challenge, and I never let an eye beam tile go off. Nearly lost colossus though due to attack tile damage

Correct, currently Okoye is the only decent power booster that won’t tank them .
