UPDATE 12/10: Milestone Quests need an extra day in the oven and will be live tomorrow, 12/11


Hi Everyone - 

Here are the R217 Release Notes.

Celebrate the season in MPQ with exciting new features and some favorites from holidays past!

  • NEW! - Fireside Puzzles event, a debut of the new Puzzle Ops feature
  • Holiday themed Special Quests and launch of Milestone Quests (Starting on 12/11)
  • Globe Trotting with Mysterio
  • 12 Days of Marvel
  • An MPQ Snowball Fight
  • Festival of Fights
  • Return of the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Ham (Limited Character)

Additional Details:

  • The "Train X Powers" Daily Quest now counts rostering characters and adding champion levels, in addition to training powers
  • The reset time for Deadpool (Spirit of Vengeance)'s daily "Spicy Token" reward now matches the time of the daily "S.H.I.E.L.D. Resupply" award

    Both are good changes. I was only getting that Deadpool token every other day because I would forget when I used him last.

    Awesome extra 'details', and looking forward to what "Puzzle Ops" is.  Anything new is always welcome, to shake things up.

    Let me help you write your changelog:

    - UI changes for AP flyout bar (uses dark cosmic background)
    - picking nodes no longer locks the circle with an animation but opens the node details directly, with a fade-in animation
    - node details zooms in character pictures from left/right/top
    - more zoom in/out UI slowdowns, uhm, I mean animations for the battle screen TU/Boost popup

    I'm guessing Honey Lemon is the next character. Maybe we're getting the Big Hero 6 team?

    Seems we have come and gone and R127 has not appeared for Android? Assume it will toddle along at some point today.

    Android players usually get the update late. I wonder if it has to do with Google's end.

    Not normally this late! But it does seem to have gotten worst the last few releases and yes quite possibly Google.
