Song of Creation VS Tamiyo Vanguard owned by the same player [Investigating]

I have faced this 2 times.
With Song of Creation and Tamiyo, Collection of Tales Vanguard in play, at end of that players' turn, Tamiyo will prevent song from discarding cards, despite they are owned by same player
