Cover limit?

Is there a limit on how many extra cover spaces can be obtained? i'm at 30 now (dang...400 hp for the next space) and am wondering if i should purchase any more. Anyone know or have hit the limit (if there is one) yet?

    Cover space limit is 40. However with currently only 27 available characters, I would rather spend HP on skills directly if you have 30 space already. It will be some time before introduction of 3 more characters.
