    Casting Jackie Earle Haley as Carnage would be so good it almost seems like cheating.

    He was great as the psychotic villain in Out of the Furnace too.

    Jackie Earle Haley will always be Rorschach to me.

    Old Captain Ma-velll (the Kree) had these nega-bands that were bonded to Rick Jones, and they switched places when the bands were struck together (the other person being stuck in the Negative Zone).

    Now, "nega" is obviously short for negative, but the bands were quite powerful and definitely made Mar-vell a force to be reckoned with.

    So really you should look at the absolute effect of the nega-bands as a good thing....so this absolute partnership will be Rick Jones and Mar-vell who switch places ala Cloak and Dagger.
