Venom (eddie brock) cover change

I noticed EB Venom has a different cover, but not anyone else that caught my eye. We celebrating something?

*edit - looked closer and it's the Marvel #1000 cover, so probably that I guess.

    Storm, daredevil, she hulk, and cap in 3 star also. Its 80 years of marvel. And it looks like they are all alternate covers of marvel #1000 that was released yesterday.

    I really like the Storm and She-Hulk covers.  They look nice.

    The 3* Daredevil one is absolutely AWESOME!  I might have to run out and buy it just to frame it :-D

    I think all of them are great apart from the Venom one.

    That's the customizability I think I'd prefer.  I spend a lot of time in just general cover management and scrolling through my roster.  To be able to change the representative cover of a character is more appealing than the in-game model.

    There was a whole series of alternate covers that were done up as action figure packaging. Hers is the only one that's made it into MPQ so far, tho.
