Nissa Vanguard's second didn't work

Hi, just wanted to test my new "cool" Nissa, Who Shakes the World.
Activated the minus 7 ability with 7 and later with 8 shilds and it did nothing, really nothing no changes.
Had Rupture Spire as land support in the deck.

    Thought Rupture Spire could have been the problem and tryed it again, this time with Karn's Bastion. Didn't work again.
    In both cases I made room on my hand for the lands in case they would first be drawn to my hand.

    My second isn't working either, and I'm using zhalfrin void. Was this issue ever addressed, as it looks like the last complaint was in June and doesn't seem to have a response?
