Jump-Start cards are not getting mana from exiled cards when in graveyard. [Not a Bug, Sorry]

When I try to recast jump-start cards from graveyard I'm not being able to do so. When I exile cards I don't see anything happen to the jump-start cards in my graveyard or any way to cast them.
I am on Android (Moto x4). I do the same steps someone else in my coalition does and I can't get them to cast or gain mana. I think this was working several weeks ago so not sure if it broke with a recent update. I tried with both "Gravity Punch" and "Radical Idea" cards.

Couple questions:
1) Did the cards you exiled have mana stored in them when you exiled them? If no then your jump-start cards in the graveyard will not be effected
2) Are you playing Experimental Frenzy? If yes than your jump-start cards will not be filled when you exile stuff from your hand1 -
I did not realize you had to exile cards that already had mana stored in them. Is that the case?Mburn7 said:Couple questions:

Your Jump-Start cards will gain mana equal to the amount stored in the card you exiled. How else did you think it worked? It would be unfair if it just gave it full mana, y'know.ShadoeFire said:

Yes. The jump-start cards gain the mana that was stored in the exiled cards.ShadoeFire said:

Check out the Tutorials (in story mode, there is one for every set) for more info on how mechanics work (and free cards!)1 -
I thought it would give the amount of mana the card required to be cast..., but in retrospect that's dumb because then you could just use a high cost card and always exile it. Having to charge it before you exile it makes sense... it's just a pain to do since I'm usually exiling a card I don't want anyway and is towards the bottom of my hand (so not in a good place to gain mana in the first place).Elektrophorus said:Your Jump-Start cards will gain mana equal to the amount stored in the card you exiled. Last question...
If you have multiple Jump-Start cards in the graveyard, like 3 "Radical Idea" cards that cost 4 mana each, and I Exile a card with 12 stored mana should it cast all 3 copies of the card that turn or will it only cast 1 per turn? I think it did the latter when I was playing.

It should cast all of them one after the other. I know I've jump-start cast multiple spells in one turnShadoeFire said:Last question...

Primary use for Jump Start is when you have cards in hand, with mana, that you don't want. A good example is if you're holding Demolish and opponent has no supports. Chuck the Demolish and add the mana to your Beacon Bolt in the trash instead.
The big money version is Blue Sun. BSZ draws and charges a full hand of cards, some of which might currently be useless. Chuck em for Beacon Bolt etc.1 -
I like it with Quasiduplicate. You can copy an expensive creature, and then chuck that creature to fill a bunch of spells (since you can't play the copy that turn).ManiiNames said:Primary use for Jump Start is when you have cards in hand, with mana, that you don't want. I assume it also works extremely well with cycling, if anyone uses that anymore1
