5* Ghost Rider’s Hell Ride not destroying tiles

I was using my lv455 5/3/5 Ghosty in a Lightning Round match. When I laid down Hell Ride’s Repeater tiles, they didn’t destroy any of the basic Red, Green, or Black tiles around them.

I restarted the app, and used Ghosty in another match. This time, the Hell Ride repeaters worked as per normal.

Anybody experienced this before?

    5* Thanos on the other side? Just mentioning it because I ran into a similar problem with Kitty's Circuit Breaker tile earlier, and then realized it was Thanos's fault.

    Hmm could be. I think i was facing Surfer and Thanos, but honestly can’t remember if Thanos had gotten his Purple tile out. If he had, that would explain it then. Thanks!
