Can someone please explain how to retaliate?

When i got the pop up notice "you are being attacked" and lost, i can only view the roster of the opponent who just beat me. Is there a button to press to retaliate?

    When you have a retaliation available the node(s) in the event will be red and the opponent will be someone who had attacked you.
