Journey to Eternity Bug (Angrath or similiar effects)

Hello, I was using Angrath's second ability (Take control of creature and destroy them afterwards).  After the enemies creature was destroyed after my turn, Journey kicked in and reanimated the creature TO THE ENEMIES BATTLEFIELD (Not mine).....

    That's actually correct, for once.

Angrath's second is a temporary steal, the creature goes back to your opponent's graveyard when it dies (and counts as a creature kill for you for objectives, not a creature loss)

Therefore it stands to reason that when the creature dies, it triggers Journey to Eternity's "when a creature you control dies" activation.

Still no word on why Journey won't trigger when a disabled creature dies though....
