Jaya's Ult still not working [Investigating]

Yup, you still can't cast spells the turn they are drawn if her ult fills them with mana.  Makes her totally useless.

    @Mburn7 I've gotten confirmation from the team that this ability is currently functioning as designed.

    So she got nerfed, and not only a little bit :(
    If you have five cards in hand, and draw a spell as sixth card, the ability totally stops you from casting the newly drawn spell that turn,even if you could fill the mana costs.. thus leading to a big disadvantage when using her ult.

    1. As a long time player of MTGPQ I can’t recall anytime where cards drawn in the beginning of the round can’t be cast in the same round provided that you are able to fill it with sufficient mana. Correct me if Im wrong.

    Now English is not my first language, but I cannot fathom how the text above can be interpretated in any other way than @Mburn7 has described in the OP. Provided that item 1 holds true.

    If you are going to keep Jayas ult. in its current state, then please

    Update the text, so it matches the implemented code!!!!

    Hi Everyone. Apologies for the confusion. I spoke with the team, and it would appear that that this ability actually isn't functioning as designed currently. They're working on a solution, however it's not solidified yet.

    I also came here to find out about this potential bug.
    I was curious if was any copied spell or if it was only Jaya's ultimate creating copied spells.

    Based on his wording, I would guess probably not.

    That being said, I would definitely still recommend Jaya, especially if you have Niv-Mizzet Parun.  Her ult is still super good, even broken.

    Well, his comment was made a month ago, so 3.1 was not yet in sight!

    I must admit I don't really care for her ult in pvp. I just run 1-2 spells and fetch one of those with her first every turn.. The ult only bothers me for pve

    Just tested this, spells are now filled with mana and cast on the same turn by her third ability.  Copies are no longer placed on top of library when hand is full so the infinite loop with effects from spells that draw cards (and made worse by Alhammarret's Archive) are probably fixed as well although I have not tested this.  Playing with Dismissive Pyromancer and 8 burn spells can create a decent loop, but not infinite.  Jaya is powerful again but not broken.

    Not so much a ninja fix, I think it was announced in 3.0.  But yeah, her ult fills everything but stored mana (which this thread is partially about).  Its so much fun to toy with.
