Update is here, but no events still? For two days?

Only thjng available is the Duel Deck event, which starts in two days, and w
ends in two days and four hours?

    I am surprised that the event is delayed an additional 2 days as well (since it was originally supposed to start right after the update went live yesterday)

    I would guess it was done just in case there were any issues with the update, to avoid having to delay it again.

    @Brigby any chance it will be moved up once everyone gets the update?

    I prefer it has been delayed not to be played with the HOD coalition event in parallel.

       It will actually start precisely at the worst moment ... On Sunday, while players will have to catch up the HOD nodes they couldnt clear before to avoid grinding a lot of nodes on monday.
       Besides, we already have been deprived of a weekend event, two days of daily events plus a legacy pve and a legacy pvp event ... We are all anxiously awaiting for the maj ... And when it comes ... 2 days late ... All we have is a "starts in 2 days" timer?
       Oktagon has all my consideration, for the lot of creativity and reactivity they shown us .... But man there's a huge problem of diplomacy and pedagogy on this one...
       How is it possible to make such an exciting maj feel like a pain in the ****?

       That being said, frustration apart, the event still looks as exciting as in the release notes.

    I'm afraid due to the delay, the first duel deck beta event (originally scheduled to start on Tuesday) had to be cancelled, if the team wanted to maintain the originally planned production schedule.

    Having said that though, the following beta events are still on schedule, and should everything go according to plan, its release date as well.

    Oh, I see.  The one we have now was supposed to be the second beta event, not the first.  Ok, that makes sense.

    With the exception of Emrakul's Corruption, which was cancelled since its start time was today, yes. The event schedule should be back to usual starting tomorrow. 

    Having said that though, there is a possibility that today's daily events can be re-scheduled after the maintenance is complete. If that is the case, I will be sure to communicate that to players.

    That would be great since both of our only 2 opportunities to test decks for legacy HoD were taken away.
