Your most fairly covered covered characters (In term of RNG)

As we all know,  getting covers through RNG can be really unfair that it make you question how really random is it that it can give you a lot of covers in one characters' ability and 0 or 1 cover in another ability etc. However it is still possible (even though it is rare) that a character's cover which you managed to obtain at fairly equal rates for each of his/her abilities in such a way that one ablitiy will never have 2 or more covers than the other two abilities at any point in time.
What are some of your most fairly covered characters in the sense that their covers come in this way that your 12-cover characters are 4/4/4 or your 9-covered characters are 3/3/3 etc ?
or me, below are some of the characters (that I can remembered) that I manage to obtain covers in this way are:
  • Riri Williams (4/4/4 before, now fully covered)
  • 4* Elektra (4/4/4)
  • War Machine (3/3/3)
  • 3*Angel (now fully covered)
  • 3*Hawkeye now fully covered)

Ironically, 4/4/4 is the most common single 12-cover distribution. It's just that there are so many other possible distributions that even the most common one is relatively rare compared to all the other possibilities combined.

I just got Iron Spidey to 4/4/4 after getting his cover at 900 in his PvP. Ghost hit 3/3/3 at some point, as did Carnage. I know I've had at least a couple more 4/4/4 builds, but I can't remember who at the moment.

I had it happen with a few; i recall Lockjaw, X23, Gwenpool, maybe one or two others.

Iron Spidey and War Machine were my recent at 4/4/4 before getting their final ones. Most for me tend to go to 5/4/3, then they get a few saved covers before getting the 13th.

The issue is we rarely get builds that are 100% based on RNG. It’s not uncommon for many of us to have uneven builds based on how prizes are distributed so we start off on uneven footing. My Emma is 0/3/2 for example. The only RNG being the cover from shield training.

I think my only pure RNG character was Howard whom I did get a 4/4/4 build for before he was champed. I was ecstatic.

I remember having insanely *bad* luck with Sandman, getting probably 15, maybe 20 or more yellows before eventually champing him.

Currently though my Silver Surfer's sat at 4/4/4 and Okoye's at 3/3/3.

This is false. It is actually the least common.

TPF Alexis is correct, assuming no saved covers.  4/4/4 is the single most common distribution with only 12 covers.  With *only* 12 covers, 5/4/3 in *some* order is the most common distribution, occuring 31.2% of the time.  This distribution includes 3/4/5, 3/5/4, 4/3/5, 4/5/3, 5/4/3, and 5/3/4.

Your probabilities are (presumably, as I haven't done the math for that yet) taking into account 12-cover distributions with extra saved covers, which includes 6/5/2, 7/5/2, 8/5/2, 9/5/2...X/5/2 all in the 5/5/2 category.

Actually my first champed 4 was Vulture, who I believe was 4/5/3 right up until I got the 13th cover, which happened to be black.

Recently landed right on 5/5/3 for both IWSM and Kraven.

Have both Quake and Spider-Woman at 4/4/4.

I can't tell you my most fairly covered because I keep staring at my 5/1/5 + 3 saved covers 4* Deadpool. Based on my fancy calculations, it will take me on average 6 more random colored Deadpool pulls to get 2 more black covers.

I didn't even use a calculator for that. All hail fractions!

On the bright side, another 62 levels in my 3* Deadpool gets me 1 black cover closer (yes, he's my 3* bonus hero).

I'd give my chimichanga for a black cover at this point.

Only ones that I can specifically remember that achieved a 4/4/4 were Jubilee and Archangel.

Jubilee cause it was right when the terrible dilution returned and archangel since he was my 3rd 5 star champed. Otherwise, don't think I've ever really paid attention to builds before eventually champing them.

I had both 5* Thor and god mode Gambit at 4/4/4 when they went into classics. I think Pun Max was that too, but some boss event rewarded those covers.

Both X23 and Thing were 4/4/4 when bonus heroes came in. The only other one I recall being 4/4/4 was Howard. I also had one other 4* that could have been, I don’t remember who though. It was at 4/3/4 and I was hoping to get the right cover to get to 4/4/4 next. In fact I got two covers and applied them in the wrong order so it went to 5/3/4 first then 5/4/4.

That is a good point. The way they're awarded as prizes skews things substantially.

If you're looking at the most common cover distributions for unfinished characters, why wouldn't you include those cases?  If you're waiting to complete a character, then 5/4/3 is going to look identical to pulling more than five covers in the first colour.  That was also true before saved covers.

It all depends upon your definition of the number "12" :)  If you are talking 12 active covers, and not counting saved/wasted ones, then Hadronic's numbers are probably correct.  If you are talking 12 total covers including saved ones, the only one that is correct is the 4/4/4.  An extreme example of this is my roster's Nick Fury.  Prior to saved covers and champing, he started out 0/9/0, so even though he had five covers, I had received nine covers for him.  By the time he was a 2/5/3 on my roster, he was actually a 2/13/3.  While he only had 10 active covers, he had received 18 total covers.  Had the covers been more evenly distributed, he would have been maxed out at LVL 270 long before he actually was.  With saved covers, he would have been a 2/5/3 with eight saved covers,  As it was, I got 8000 ISO for my troubles.

Currently, my 5-star Thanos is a 5/5/2.  However, I received a bonus black cover for him sometime ago, so while he has 12 active covers, he has earned 13 covers.  He is a 6/5/2 in reality, but a 5/5/2 in the roster.

I would have sworn it came out slightly ahead. I may be mis-remembering from something else I worked out, tho. I regrettably don't have it saved, and I really don't feel like going over it again.

An underlyling issue here is that due to setup of ranking and progression awards, it is much harder to obtain that 1st cover ability than any of the others. During the PVE release event, you can only obtain the 1st cover ability if you make T10. During the PVP release event, you can only obtain this cover if you make T5.  The Alliance Reward Cover for the Release PVE is the 3rd cover ability. Not sure what the Alliance cover is for PVP if you manage to do that well, but I'm gonna go ahead and wager it's not the first one. The progression cover in the next PVE is always the 2nd cover ability, and the progression cover in the next PVP is always the third cover ability. Luckily the progression reward in Shield Simulator will always be that 1st cover ability, but that's the following season, where you won't be able to obtain anymore covers of the character in the meantime. That's also assuming that they were the only character released that season, because when it comes to who gets to have that slot in SHIELD Sim,
Image result for there can be only one

Yeah there's SHIELD Training now, but should you so happen to have the 3 characters where they need to be level-wise, you're still subject to the RnG of what cover that node decides to give you. Gives me the 2nd or 3rd typically, with the one exception I can think of to date being Rogue's green. So quite a majority of us start off with our new characters at some variation of 0/1/2, 0/2/2, 0/2/3, or 0/1/3, until that next Shield Sim comes around. The odds really aren't in your favor from the get-go. One of the many reasons the cover saving feature feels like a godsend for me.

Historically, I remember G4mora and Ant-Man were at 4/4/4 before being champed. Right now, I have War Machine at 4/4/4. I may have had one or two more, but I doubt it if I'm not recollecting because it's usually pretty noteworthy to get a 4/4/4. I'm not going to argue with all the statisticians above me, but t feels like I always get a 5 somewhere before I'm at 13.

EDIT: I lied. I have 45 4* champs. Assuming Ant-Man and Gamora were my only two 4/4/4's before champing, that puts me at 2/45, or 4.44% of my 4*'s having been 4/4/4.

My son's 5/4/2 Carol (4-star) just got two bonus heroes in the past 24 hours, which boosted her up to a 5/4/4.  She's now champed, with no covers wasted or saved.  His other two champed 4-stars are Hulkbuster and Nightcrawler, each of which had one cover wasted (pre-saved covers) before they were champed.
