It does trigger correctly as long as there is no ox in the first slot. When there is, instead of destroying it and casting another one, it just reinforces the ox, making it an excellent token generator - for the enemy

    Is this separate from the bug where it won't kill creatures with Prevent Damage? If Dauntless Bodyguard was also out on your opponent's side or something it would have caused these results due to that bug. If this is yet another bug, well I'm starting to wonder if I even want to use this card before it gets fixed…

    Well, in one match I had an opponent with an ox as first creature and it did in fact destroy the ox and create a new one. I also saw the ox being reinforced, too, but that was when the opponent's ox had gained prevent damage.

    Well, it was a white deck.. So it is possible it was due to prevent damage.
    This way it the other, it's bugged
