If not already possible one one color or another. Is there a reward for it? If not what should it be?

funny you say that, you should read my most recent post on your other thread
on topic: I'll never make 2500. I'm not completionist enough0 -
Actually this is what will probably happen. It happened to one of my teammates before they increased it.Laeuftbeidir said:At least you're not pushed back to bronze (again)

There is no need to worry ; Check the bugs forum :someone was about to pass the 2.5k bar one or two weeks ago (so it's probably at page 200+) and asked whether this could happen again. The answer was no, he passed and is still in platinum.Anyway, it's either time for a totally new system (particularly with standard being a thing!) or another tier

I've been advocating for another tier for waaaay too long. It doesn't look like its happening.Laeuftbeidir said:bken1234 said:

I think if they are keeping the current system, they need to adjust the points needed for each level. The tier up points were made based on the cards in the game when Innistrad came out, there have been so many new cards since them it seems a bit archaic1 -
Adding another tier is too much burden and ennoyances. Many people level up to platinum for greater rewards. Once achieved, they are not interested in mastering cards anymore.Mburn7 said:

There wont be any difference in skill level between a platinum and an hypothetical tier up.

That isn't true at all. Remember, Tier is supposed to match people based on collection, not necessarily skill. Between the lack of events (leading to mastery out of boredom), the flood of new cards (both from crafting and new sets), and the standard rotation (forcing you to play new cards frequently) a new top tier would be pretty quickly filled with the top-top players. You know, the people who have been here since the beginning and have every single card in the game (or almost every). That way someone relatively new to the game who had to grind their way up to platinum won't have to face nothing but Omni loop decks and Starfield shenanigans.Theros said:

2500+ on 3 colors. No rewards, no pushback.1

Things need to change. A new tier would be an overcomplicated bandaid that might cause more problems, things need to change about match-making and all kinds of stuff instead!

Get them all to 2500 and you get in the Diamond tier that never came0

You go back to bronze and lose all your rare and mythics. But you do get double the rewardsUrzashead said:IIf not already possible one one color or another. Is there a reward for it? If not what should it be?
