How to beat BOFT 5.1 in 5 Minutes with Max Points!

I have heard lots of grumbles about BOFT because it has lots really long and cumbersome battles.  However, with this technique you can easily beat most of the longest battles in very little time.  Obviously you have to have the cards, but otherwise victory is virtually automatic. Definitely the most broken combination in our post-cycling world.

    That deck is filthy, though.  Wish I could make it.

    It really is amazing... I also played it on nodes  5.2, 5.3, 4.1 (modified with Jace's Defeat and Sphinx Decree), 4.2 (modified with Dowsing Dagger and The First Eruption), 3.1, 3.2, and 2.2

    What are you missing @Mburn7?

    Doom, Settle, and Karn's Sundering.  Settle I can live without, but not having Doom is pretty annoying now that its useful.

    Yeah, I am going to miss Doom when it rotates out.  You dont really need settle of course.

    Interesting.... though looks like if you didn't have Karn, or didn't have the hundreds of thousands of runes to level him, that you could potentially do a slightly weaker version of this with Saheeli?

    You'd be losing Gideon's Defeat and Seal Away but could use Time of Ice and Farm//Market instead....

    If I had Karn's Temporal Sundering I'd absolutely try that out.

    We don't have instructions on how to use that function, maybe this is flaggable!

    Personally, I consider these kind words packaged up in a Rick Roll as a wonderful compliment!  Thank you Brigby!

    Yes @wereotter you can absolutely do this deck in Saheeli and also in Bolas.  Karn is the preferable option because he is so good at digging for solutions.  But you don't really have to go into the fight with 12 hp.. you could develop the combo and manage their board state with KTS and other control to get below 20 life.  I think Saheeli might even be better from that aspect with her great base mana gains.  You could also use a Saheeli combo on any of the other nodes I mentioned very easily.

    Oh I was absolutely impressed. At the end of the match, I'm pretty sure that combo engine was churning out 80+ damage per turn, with 10+ extra turns to spare.
