Friends! Nemeses! I call upon your infinite mtg wisdom!
Some of you already know of the Portal to Amonkhet from Kaladesh in the mtg artwork. If you haven't just look below!

look where it's going...looky looky.

HAAAA!! Foreshadowing
so, my question is...

where are we going now? And what's all that green mush in the picture?

Ah. I didn't see all the masterpieces, good to know. Still, I admire the foresight.FindingHeart8 said:

And what's wrong with Ixalan? Its got Dinos and Pirates, the 2 best tribes ever (besides Slivers, of course)2 -
dude...I'm gonna let this slide because we're friends...but you clearly forgot about the unquestionably coolest tribe ever, the wombat tribe. Followed closely by the illusion tribe, because (due to some tragic error with Wizards of the Coast Research & Development team) there's only 1 wombat in the entire game. But illusions are frequently clones that can make more wombats...so...close enough I guess.Mburn7 said:

Dinos and Pirates are in the top 10 though...probably because they'd both eat elves if given the option, and nobody likes elves
I'm still trying to figure out how Slivers eat...maybe through their slurpy-straw beak mouths?

I admit, I did not know of the wonders of the Wombat tribe. Thank you for the tip.FindingHeart8 said:

And Bears are also an under-utilized but fun tribe (just think of all the vanilla 2/2 gems!).
I always assumed how Slivers eat depended on which ones were in the vicinity, since they all morph each other differently. Although with the two-headed sliver that must get complicated fast0 -
personally I think mtgpq's translated version of Rabid Wombat is much snazzier (check my avatar pic!)Mburn7 said:

bears are so much fun, I hope bear tribal becomes a usable thing at some point (maybe it's a Jolly Green Bear we're seeing in that portal!).
Yeah that makes sense, I wonder which sliver-head won out when they released almost-copyright-infringment-Predator-slivers.

A friend of mine actually made a Bear commander deck. He searched the gatherer for every card with bear in its name, flavor text, or type. Commander was a tricolor hunter wearing a bearskin from Tarkir (Temur leader, I believe). Its hilarious to play, since its basically an army of generic 2/2 bears and a random goblin bezerker (don't ask). Now every set we both look for the bears to add to itFindingHeart8 said:Mburn7 said:

I think I stared at the green stuff too long, I'm starting to see Cthulhu in there… A couple creepy bulbous eyes at the top, and lots of creepy tentacles.
