Game freezes during gem combo animation; please provide animation disable option

During gem combinations in my opponents turn, the games freezes. No other actiona happening during that time.
WLAN connection.
Platinum Level.

And please - when do we get the disable animation option?
The game has frozen enough times over the last year(s) during animations.

    Did the opponent match away a Hixus? Then it might have have that instead of the animations that killed the game.
