    Not really a lesson when Champing a drax won't return you five star rewards for a signficant...extremely long...amount of time. 3 star feeders are slow, but at least they not at a snail's pace.

    Because AV is actually pretty good whereas Eddie is just well...and people probably have higher AVs than Eddies.

    And from a comics standpoint (not that it means anything obviously) but BSSM is more of a direct connection than AV.

    What do you mean? This all makes perfect sense! At least, it did when the manatees randomly chose the idea balls from the idea ball pile. Look, they're about to choose another one! Let's see...Gambit's 4* feeder will be....Kraven! Another perfect suggestion, wise manatees! :D

    Seriously though, I suspected this would happen, so I champed Drax a while back without regrets. Sorry for all the people with fat Grockets and Yondus that were hoping for things to go differently.

    One of my lowest covered 4*s (1/1/0) is feeding my highest covered 5* (2/1/3); I guess that's cool. i should probably get that 3* R&G on roster at some point

    Mordo is actually good though, so plenty will have him champed and at high levels. No 5trange for us.

    I'm fine with the idea of incentivizing champing less-used 4* characters by making them 5* feeders, but at the same time, why not also tie this to a rework? Sure, Drax was fixed once already, but it obviously wasn't enough. The same applies to Sandman and Kingpin. They don't need to be propelled to the top tier, but at least improve them enough that someone might want to actually use them.

    And if they REALLY want to incentivize this, why not offer a window of 10-15 days post champ-rewards update in which the champing costs for the character are reduced? I'd probably have champed Sandman by now if it cost me about 150K less ISO.
