Hmm lemme try.
I play Lurking Chupacabra 4/5 that gives -3-3 to the first creature of an opponent when I explore with a creature

Since we are missing some rules, here are my suggestions
- discard: causes a player to lose 3 points per card, same points as drawing them.
-gem changing: gives 2 points per gem changed.
- explore: player chooses +x/+x or change x gems.
- treasure; can be "cashed in", same as in paper, for a one time 3 point gain. Player has to chose if he wants points now, or keep them for synergies.
- counter spells: targeted player can't cast ANY card of the countered type next turn. So cancel causes you to effectively miss a turn, but does not gain the caster any points.
- " last" cycle; you get the effect, but you cannot gain ANY POINTS IN ANY WAY during the following turn.
- cost increase or decrease: changes the cost by that many points until the player has cast a card of that type. e.g harbinger bouncing a creature causes the next creature cast to cost -6 points, until that player casts a creature

I like your ideas! I'm definitely going to add the discard, treasure, bounce. Going to have a gain 3 instead of lose 3 for discard, as it's easier for the player who cast the discard spell to gain the points than it is to make sure every other player participating subtracted the points they were supposed to lose). Gem changing 1 point per gem, otherwise it would be super easy to abuse common gem changing cards for an easy 1-turn 4-8 points.Thuran said:Since we are missing some rules, here are my suggestions

Didn't even think about cycling, since the 3 points is a substitute for a card draw, they don't actually get another card, I'm okay with letting them have the 3 points. There are more efficient ways of getting points with the cards we still have.

I set the ramp at 2 points, in order to make it a real choose between +1+1 (1 point), and gem changing (2 points). Also, having a full power hour of revelation give 30 mana for a cost of 25 seems about right
but I do get that common gem changers would be super powerful.

(half points of 4/5) 2 + 3 (pts from card draw) + 2 (from creature attack) = 7
Total points: 16

I play Sheer Drop with awaken, killing @Furordraco 's disabled Lurking Chupacabra for 2 points. I get 3 1/1 elementals with haste and attack.
