Siren's ruse: disabled creatures don't come back [edited]

Thinking of how exile works in paper (though of course paper and PQ are not the same) exile takes the creature out of the game into a separate part. if that creature returns from exile it does with all the buffs, counters and enchantments it had.

shouldnt that be the same with siren's ruse? It's different from lill 3s power because destroy does strip a creature from all effects...

thoughts, bug or intended?

    Also, a creature disabled with Cast Out doesnt return at all...

    I think you have it wrong.  Flicker effects in magic strip all attachments and counters.

    Rulings:

    • A permanent that returns to the battlefield after being exiled does so as an entirely new object. It will have no memory of or connection to its previous existence.
    • Unless an effect says otherwise, permanents enter the battlefield untapped, creatures can't attack or T until they've been continuously under your control since the start of your most recent turn, and double-faced cards enter the battlefield with their front face up.
    • Any Auras attached to a permanent that leaves the battlefield will be put into their owner's graveyard the next time state-based actions are checked. Any Equipment attached to a permanent that leaves the battlefield become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on a permanent that leaves the battlefield cease to exist.

    Ah, my bad.

    But then cast out should not affect the creature then...

    Yeah what you're probably thinking of is Phasing, which in the card game removes a creature from play but without any of the effects of being removed from play (ex: no enter/leave the battlefield triggers, enchantments and artifacts don't fall off, etc).

    Mtgpq has nothing like phasing yet, but we'll see what happens when the card game returns to Dominara and we see another likely Tefiri planeswalker

    If the card does not remove bad effects the creature may have on it, what is this card useful for?

    Another way i can think of it being useful aside from retriggering ETB effects is to rearrange the creatures in your hand if you need to.

    Well if you cast Siren's Ruse on a creature that is brought back by God-Pharao's Gift, it is no longer is exiled at the end of turn, so that bad effect is removed.
