R&G 4* strike tile strength question

   So I'm ready to jump on the G4mora, Medusa, and R4cket & Groot bandwagon, thanks to the everyone powered up PVP event and the popularity of people using them in PVP.  Right now, I have Gamora and Medusa completely on board but R&G's at 2/5/5.  Is R&G at 270 going to make that much of a difference as compared to them at 250, at least in PVE?  I don't see myself using their blue at all because of Gamora's cheap stun ability but should I be considering buying the additional cover for R&G to beef up their strike tile effectiveness?  I would be using command points to buy the additional cover fyi.
