If one is to join into or even create their owbown buyer's club, who is to say that someone wouldn't join and then not contribute?

Longstanding question and solution across many games. Easy answer - you can get away with it once or twice but after that, you turn into a known character and people stop accepting you into the club. Permanent blacklist.
Very few newbies form buyers clubs, they look for established ones to join as a measure of trusted source and only start their own once they know enough of the players to feel comfortable that they're very unlikely to get burned.0 -
I buy quite often and would be willing to join one. My roster is strong and I have quite a cover hoard to show that I play and contribute on the regular but it seems lile they are tough to find.0

Generally new members buy first. And if someone (new or otherwise) was to ever drop out without buying or being covered once a buy had started, then it'd be unlikely they'd ever be invited back.0
