Took me 20 minutes and all my healthpacks was spent, I hadn't downed a single enemy and not seen one of Punishers great animations once. There's really no reason to play if not using one of the two A-teams. It's just frustrating.

Been experimenting with Pun lately. His abilities are strong and his animations super cool, though I do think a battery really benefits him. He's just so slow without one since you want to have both green and black ready to fire.
I've been running Pun + IM40 + strike tile maker (I tried Bl4de, Polaris and Echo).
Unsurprisingly, Polaris is the best (and most boring) option. She can either start multiplying from her initial strike tile, or after Recharge, firing her blue. She will take the first kill and leave Pun in a great position for his green/black combo. His black is devastating with Polaris' strike tile spam on the field.
Bl4de and Echo have pros and cons to each.
Blade gives passive strike tiles, and after Recharge, passive damage that will help get your first kill somewhere. However, his actives have complete color overlap with Pun's combo and are therefore useless. In that, he's unfortunately literally just a subpar Polaris here: strike tiles but less of them, damage but random instead of directed, no actives (vs Polaris adds a blue stun).
Meanwhile, one of Echo's red is 3* IF's ability to make black tiles. So, not only does Recharge give Pun green, Echo can feed him black! She also provides passive strike tiles as long as she tanks colors (red and purple here). However, she doesn't have much damage on her own here beyond the occasional trap tile proc, leaving most of the work to Pun himself.
For enemy teams with a lot of health, Polaris will feel a lot better to play because of the ease of the first kill and the insane strike tile production. For regular 4* team opponents, Echo is more synergistic and will also get the job done.
