Newbie questions regarding PvP

Hi all,

Just started with this game and noticed there is a PvP section where I can battle other players but...

1) Is it real life people I am facing or the AI?

2) If it is the AI and suppose a human player fails to defeat my team...do I get some sort of reward?

    1. You are always playing against an AI, but you are playing against someone else's team (the last team they won a match with in that event). There are a few dummy teams baked in to get the ball rolling, but it's usually another player's team, but AI controlled.

    2. Yes, if someone attacks your team and loses, you will gain rank points for that tourney. You won't gain ISO from the win, but it will help you move up the tournament standings.
