    So does anyone know if this happens periodically and a large group of us just don't know about it? The only time I've ever gotten a free cover from MPQ was directly thru the game, without clicking on any links.

    Btw, thanks for the free Doc Ock cover.

    Tried it a third time, still no joy.

    Opening link asks me if I want to open in App Store. I do so.

    App Store opens, takes me to MPQ app info, I tap "Open."

    MPQ app opens, no cover.

    Oh, well, guess it's not my lucky day.

    Worked for me on Android. First try only opened the game, then I had to switch back and hit the link again.

    I couldn't get it to work via Chrome on Android (Samsung Galaxy S4), but once I tried the native Internet app (in this case, literally named "Internet") it worked for me. Might be worth a try.

    Also, check if you have pop-up windows allowed?

    Can't you choose to open the app directly instead of going through the AppStore?


    Doesn't give me that option.

    I was having some real trouble getting this in iOS on my iPhone.
    Here's what finally worked:

    - Copied the bitly link and pasted it into Safari - http://bit.ly/MPQ-AdamKovic
    - When it loaded, a screen asking if I wanted to open the app store popped up. I chose CANCEL.
    - Then, before the regular D3GO site opened (a redirect from the bitly link), I pulled down on the screen. Hidden under the top of Safari is the expected "Open in Marvel Puzzle Quest" button: 



    - MPQ opened right away and VOILA! a cover appears!

    If you are still having trouble, the actual link that triggers the reward is:

    marvelpuzzlequest://campaign/AdamKovicMay2017

    The game is set as a handler for "marvelpuzzlequest:" URLs, so is opened when the browser tries to navigate to that URL.  I wonder if it is possible to pass this to the PC version of the game as a command line argument?

    I managed to trigger opening the game in the Steam version using that url but no reward

    I play on Steam so I put in a ticket to see if they would honor the promotion since it doesn't work for Steam users. I put the ticket in the day the OP was posted to the forums and I received the cover about 5 minutes ago.
