Stuck at Checking Version

Keeps giving me retry option, which fails. I cleared cache and data, reinstalled, tried 4g instead of wifi, nothing works.

    I've had something like this going on with my tablet for months. Can only play on my phone, which is annoying with the smaller screen.

    The only time I ever get stuck at checking version is on public WiFi where you have to 'sign in' via a browser. Once I do that everything works. You said you switched off WiFi so that shouldn't be your issue.

    Only other thing I'd say might be an issue is if you had Facebook backup save checked and your facebook password changed since last time you played. You could try signing out back into Facebook on your device.

    I'll assume other apps work and its not some general security setting preventing apps from accessing data / directories on your device.
