Energized boards and color changing spells

As soon as the whole board is energized, spells like Animists Awakening, Natural Connection and Attune with Aether stop working completely.  They are getting cast  but the effect doesn't happen, they do not change color of any gems. Only because gems are energized should not stop them from getting their color changed!

    This how the program works as far as I know: each coloured gem can hold 1 ability, be it a support, (white) clue, loyalty or void or energised status. only plain coloured gems can change color. any gem with an ability cannot.

    The only exception is loyalty status. I believe loyalty status gem can still change into 1 of the 5 colors by gem converters.
