This is the most fun I've had in a PvE event in awhile. Hawkguy seems so friendly and harmless, until he's not.
Current favorite team: Star-Lord, Coulson, Hawkguy.
Hard opponents: Star-Lord, Peggy Carter
Basic strategy is to load up on Blue, Red, Purple, and wait for an enemy action. Everyone in my group seems to be using Cyclops, so encouraging him to take yellow works well. Once the opponent tries something, Hawkguy shoots 3+ arrows, those countdowns get matched by Coulson countdowns. After that, Oldest Trick in the Book for 6 and about 20,000 damage. Gain 2 random AP when a friendly Countdown tile reaches 0. Whenever you match an enemy special tile gain 2 AP and 2 AP. With Best Laid Plans for 6 , it's usually easy to collect another 5 off the board.
Fun to take out high level Silver Surfer + Thanos teams.0 -

It would be really, really cool if you could do something like this every now and then for events.
My Phil isn't yet useable, so for me it's been Star-Lord / Kate. ~15k damage for her black and purple aren't to be sneezed at.0
