Era of Innovation and non Creature Artificers...

Pulled a Era of Innovation, which seems cool, but the text is confusing.

"When a support or a creature with artificer you control enters the battlefield, Energize 2. Overload 3: You draw 3 cards."

A support that is an artificer? What is that?

    2. a creature with artificer = a creature with Artificer as one of its types - like Pia Nalaar

    Just remember that Overload 3 might be difficult to trigger without a deck built around the Energize mechanic :)

    Overload 3: You draw 3 cards.

    you almost need a landslide to trigger that overload 3.
    (cascades unlikely to trigger it)

    Ah!, the technical writer in me would have put a comma there to make that distinction, but it makes total sense. As to the Overload effect, not what I would run it for, but a nice effect if it ever happened.

    It's pretty good for generating energy when you run it with Tamiyo's Journal, because clues trigger its energy generation.
