Desktop / Web-based version? Low power mode?

Options
I'm probably in a minority here, but in addition to managing my character health and health packs, I have another resource to manage - my tablet's battery power. Even plugged in, the app apparently drains the battery faster than the wall charger for my Nexus 7 can keep up. A desktop version could mitigate this for those midnight tourneys ends at home when my tablet is played out.

I explored two options:
* Custom ROM to enable USB tethering, so I can shut off wifi and reduce power consumption.
* Android for x86 in a VM. But MPQ wouldn't run in that environment.

  • I would LOVE a desktop version of the game. Not only would it save my phone's battery during the day but it's much easier to hide the fact that I'm playing a video game at work when it's on my computer as opposed to on my phone icon_e_wink.gif

I tried Bluestacks and Genymotion (formerly AndroVM). Game is not playable on both, but on Bluestacks at least you can get to main menu and collect daily rewards (I had no access to a tablet for a few days icon_e_wink.gif).
