Let me choose my defense line

Hi

I think the system will choose the highest level card when someone attacking me but my highest levels card are good for my attack so make the game somehow that people can choose their defense line please.

I have a 4 start xmen which does nothing as it needs tons of AP to be able to use the powers but it is also the highest level card so when people are attacking me that card is useless.
