    didn't realize how much difference 165 would be over 100. nova is really annoying - I can imagine how annoying he'll be covered and a decent level.

    unless he wasn't paying attn. and hit fight with a team he intended to face seeds with, like 2 low-covered 5*s or something and took a loss costing him healthpacks. did that one time in an LR and managed to win, but man they took a ton of damage.

    Eh, not really, just annoyed at my own stupidity. It's carelessness like this that leads me to use Patch's Berserker Rage when the board has too many unmatchable purples.

    Yeah, took on just such a team although I checked the player to make sure that his roster wasn't overly whalely (it wasn't). I didn't take *that* much damage, more than I normally would have, and the match took longer of course.

    He's at the end of the Alpine sub in the Gauntlet at 285 lvl (for me at least). You're right, he IS annoying.

    a gauntlet node is different than in pvp. he's not super powerful, so maybe we won't see him much, but he's annoying like carnage.

    Nova can turn a guaranteed win for the AI into a loss.

    I had a match where my guys were dead apart from Rocket & Groot. The bad guys had enough AP to use powers to kill R&G too, but before anything else, Nova fired off Rocket Man, sending R&G safely into the air while the AI then spilled its impotent seed onto barren ground. A yellow match upon landing restored R&G, and he was flung to safety again a few moves later. I ended up winning that match.

    Thank the star on his little helmet that Rocket Man is red and not black.
