Tips for returning mid-3* player

I played for ~100 days pretty early on, lost my account and started again, and then was able to merge my old account. I stopped playing about a year ago, and I just restarted with the account at day 165 a few weeks ago.

I have 69 characters, with my best/highest being:

5*
SS 1/0/0

4*
NFury 120 1/4/0
Electra 94 2/1/1
XF 90 2/2/1
ProfX 0/2/0
Hulkbuster 0/1/0
TA Hulk 1/0/0
4Thor 1/0/0
Kingpin 1/0/0
Jean Grey 0/1/0
(that's all my 4*)

3*
RGroot 132 4/4/5
Mag 120 5/3/3
Loki 120 5/4/3
LThor 117 3/5/1
Storm 4/2/3
Hood 5/5/1
Mystique 2/4/5
Hulk 5/2/3
And a bunch of other 3* with 1-8 covers

2*
Mag 100
BW 97
Storm 97
Ares 96
Thor 96
Daken 94
Cap 94

I'm hopefully joining a t100 pve guild, but I don't want to play all day.

Any tips on the best way to proceed here, particularly pvp options... it seems like with the 5*, I pvp is a lot slower than I remember. Should I just stick with pvp for now, or are my 3* chars good enough to try to hit rewards in pvp?

    Here are my 50 spideycoin.png

You are fine in the 2* land (i normally suggest keeping just 3-4 of them but with championing I give the occasional Daken or Captain a pass). You need 1* Juggernaut to compete in the DDQ (no other 1* is needed). For PvE essentials I always try to queue one cover of each of 2* I don't have (in my case - 9 of them) to add to the roster when needed.

Don't worry about your 4* - you are so far behind that you will need to build a solid 3* game before you can move there. Keep adding covers but don't waste iso (unless you see a good chance to beat 4* DDQ node). They will be useful in PVE as essentials so try to keep them all.

So the 3* topic... DDQ is your best friend. Top 100 PVE and PVP alliance is close second. To stay in a top 100 PvP alliance you need roughly 700-800 points. That is not easy without maxed 3*. Being top 100 (or much better) in PvE is simpler and a weaker roster is favorable (weaker opponents). But anything more than top 100 is a grind fest (3-4 hours a day).

I would focus on PvE, keep playing PvP, DDQ and build your 3*. Look for top dogs like Iron Fist, Cyclops, Khamala, SWitch, Thor - they can help to the 800-1000 points a lot.

Final word - try to enjoy the game icon_e_wink.gif
