I was under the impression that the devs roundly acknowledged the level scaling was broken in the previous Episode 3 event, Thick as Thieves.

If that is the case, why was the Oscorp Heroic Mode released with the identical scaling system?

    Obvious. The only way to compete is to have a maxed Spidey. So they want people to spend money on that. Then they nerf Spidey halfway through the tournament, when they have "invested" and they won't stop playing, so they spend money on boosts. Rinse and repeat (as they did with Patch in ToT).

    Quit the game before you are too hooked.
