Matching system

hey guys, can someone explain to me how does the matching system work?

When i started to play this game i was used to be matched against a mix of opponentes with higer level or lower level, most of times about the same level.

Now im begin matched almost every time against players with chars with 15 lvls or more than mine. Got to dig for minutes to find a fair match.

My strongest char is a 2-star wolverine(lvl 40).

My covers are about 30ish lvl, got 2-star storm lvl 37, iron man lvl 34, thor lvl 36, captain america lvl 33, widow lvl 28. And a bunch of 2 star cover, some 3 star, that are not even lvl 20. And that is now, when this crazy matching started like 10 days ago, my Wolverine was about lvl 33.

Is it only me, "AH!!! ur chars are low level!!!" or every1 has like lvl 70+ Thor and a lvl 65+ CStorm?
