Alliances with more than 20 members?

This is odd. In Thick as Thieves, I'm seeing an Alliance showing as having 18 out of 20 members, but if you go into the Alliance Rank Member Contributions score screen, there are 34 players listed.

Is there something I'm missing here or are there shenanigans afoot?

    It's a display bug where players who've applied but declined show up the contributing scores, they do not never factor into the actual score tally

    I've declined a handful of folks in the last couple of days but still only see 20 in my own Alliance contributor list. Weird.
