So, what's the score with final rankings in pvp...

When I played 'made man' event I ranked 26, disappointing to miss the second cover but hey some other dude beat me to it, or did they?

I play in time slice 5 and the guy at 25 was on the same points as me! It looks as if final rankings on equal points is sorted out alphabetically.

Hey devs can you fix this? If not can I change my name to aardvark so I don't get robbed of a cover again?

    If two people finish with the same score, the one on top will be the person who reached it first.

    Interesting didn't know that, guess in that case he should change his name to sonic the hedgehog or something faster than an aardvark. icon_lol.gif

    Interesting as I reached that points total but got knocked down by approximately 80 points from attacks, does it take that into consideration?

    I do agree that if you arrive at it from above by getting attacked, you should be ahead of someone who climbed to that spot from below before you got knocked down.

    Doesn't always work that way - I've had a score and then been bumped down when someone else gets that same score. Maybe there are decimal places on scores that we can't see or maybe if someone achieves a higher score and then a loss causes them to drop points they get the position?

    I had a response from CS about this a while back:
    Thank you for contacting D3P Customer Support.

    We'd be happy to clear this up for you!

    When two or more players have the same scores at the end of an event, the tie winner is determined by the following:

    - When two players tie, the person who reached that score first will win the tie.
    - Alternatively, if a player was dropped down from a higher rank and their new score causes a tie, they will win the tie.

    The #5 rewards are not offered to both players if they tie for #5, only five players in your bucket will receive these rewards - a tie does not give these rewards to a sixth player.
    So all of you that lost out on ties, it was probably due to the other person being higher temporarily, and then getting knocked down.
