The one thing I don't like about the Gauntlet

.... The Black Hole.

You know the one -- the node you inevitably reach (unless you're an end-stage max-level player) where your roster, even boosted, just isn't enough to win.

At first, you don't think it's the Black Hole. You think you just need to change team composition, and you'll get by this time. A couple of health packs will fix this.

Except you don't.

Wait -- it was THIS combination that I should have used! I'll get through it now!

Except you don't.

And in the end, there you are -- without any health packs, with all your top usable characters dead.

And a couple of hours later, when you've healed up and your health packs have regenerated..... You do it all again.*

The thing I hate the most, though, is that the Gauntlet, more than any other event, leaves you basically unable to continue playing at all once you've been swallowed up by that black hole. (Unless you want to futz around in the prologue, or see if you can beat early Gauntlet nodes with wacky sub-optimal teams.) The horror!
