I bought a 10 pack. For those who record such things for statistical analysis.

2 x yellow bag lady
1 x black hulk
4 x Cap
3 x Hawkeye

    While otherwise he's useless, in this event he's god due to 200% buff - he can tank like Hulk, he kills counters and his red got very nice damage buff - for effective cost of 0 AP, he has good synergy with 2* Wolv.

    I just took out a 14,000 HP level 240 Venom with a level 65 Captain America who had less than 200 HP left, no other characters still standing. Put out a few 180-point protect tiles, get the blue and red countdowns rolling, keep Venom stunned or hitting for one point while denying black and purple (one enemy match of either could have ended the game, especially black), and whittle him down with red attacks. Ended the duel at about 170 HP on Captain America.

    That'll do, Cap'n.

    Isn't the 10-pack 3-stars guaranteed? How come you still get Cap and Hawkeye?

    Only 1 Guaranteed character. The rest are any of the characters available in the pack. That said, Two 4* characters make it a very good pull I'd say (even if IW isn't very good now, she IS next on the character balancing list, hopefully she will be improved).

    Yeah I was happy with. I had been considering buying covers for hulk and IW directly, so to pill 6250 worth of covers for 4750 wasn't too shabby.

    And then I put cap and Hawkeye into the grinder to make ISO sausage.

    You were considering buying covers even though the state of character balance is in flux? What if they change IW and you're stuck with a sub-optimal build? I envy the amount of spending $ you have to throw around

    I figure the money I spend on the game pays for servers, game development, admin and so on, so I don't fixate on 'my dollars bought me this card and they changed it'. If we all played free or waited the game would shut down.

    And all the cards will always be open to revision, so you will never reach a point where you have iron clad card abilities.

    Having said that, my Hulk is 4/1/2 after the cover and bag lady is 2/0/1, so it's not like I lost any flexibility.

    Um I didn't say that buying the 10x pack was bad. There's nothing wrong with supporting the game. You can buy all the HP you want. I also enjoy opening "packs" rather than buying specific singles; I'm a collector and buying singles ruins it for me. No, I was addressing your desire to buy a specific 4* cover when you don't know what the optimal build will be.
