It seems for calls longer than 1 minute.

is it a limitation of my telephones memory? (ram?)

    It's a limitation of memory and how your OS uses it. 768 RAM isn't that low, but your Android version is also pretty old. If an OS update is available, it may improve things. You may also be able to free up resources by disabling other apps that unnecessarily run in the background, but without knowing what your phone is doing I can only guess at that.

    I'm an iPhone user myself, and when I went from an iPhone 5 (512 megs) to iPhone 6 (1 gig), I almost completely stopped seeing this problem.
