Suggestion for Rewards System

What about making it where ALL rewards include the "next tier"?

Take, for example, the No Holds Barred tournament.

The current reward structure is:
Ranking Rewards
1: Wolverine X-Force (Green) 250 ISO, 100 HP
2-4: Iron Man (Model 40) Red, Blue, Yellow, 250/100
5-8: Iron Man (Model 40) Blue, Yellow, 250/100
9-20: Iron Man (Model 40) Yellow, 250/100
21-50: Magneto (Marvel NOW) Blue, Purple, Red, 250/50
51-100: Magneto (Marvel NOW) Purple, Red, 250/50
100-175: Magneto (Marvel NOW) Red, 250
176-250: Standard Recruit Tokens x3, 250
251-350: Standard Recruit Tokens x2, 250
351-450: Standard Recruit Token, 250
451-500: 250 ISO-8

What if, instead, each tier rewarded all things below itself, so you could do

1: Wolverine X-Force (Green)
2-4: Iron Man (Model 40) Red
5-8: Iron Man (Model 40) Blue
9-20: Iron Man (Model 40) Yellow, 50 HP
21-50: Magneto (Marvel NOW) Blue
51-100: Magneto (Marvel NOW) Purple
100-175: Magneto (Marvel NOW) Red, 50 HP
176-250: Standard Recruit Token
251-350: Standard Recruit Token
351-450: Standard Recruit Token
451-500: 250 ISO-8

With this structure, it would give nobody a reason to ever "Sandbag" themselves, to get what they want. Have everyone actually compete to do well.

    Spidey, gsBW and IM40 have been awards at those tiers lately/now.

    If you're suggesting to make all rewards below 1st ** then fine, but in that case I'm against that too.

    The model for covers is borked anyway. Play the game for 2 weeks or so and you'd be mental to spend any money on covers.

    I have some sympathy to this idea though. In the current Hulk thing I'm between 5000-10000 so my reward is a green Hulk card. Yey. The tier below me gives 3 OBW cards. This suggestion isn't really the answer though as you'd have some tiers giving ridiculous amounts of same character cards.

    It really isn't THAT much different than what's currently offered but it removes the need to "hover" from 20-50 if you want the 3 2-star covers.

    Basically as it stands first place gets Wolverine + 3 of a 3 star cover. 25-50 gets 3 of a 2 star cover. From 2-24, you get 1-2 3 star covers. Instead, first would get 1 4*, 3 3*, 3 2*, and the recruit tokens. Gives a reason for actually trying through the whole event (which, in turn, would allow people to reach further down on the progression rewards).
